Gobi Mutter Masala



Gobi Mutter Masala
Prep Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time: 10 mins
Serving: 4

Ingredients:
1 tbsp Oil
1 Gobi florets blanched
1 cup green peas blanched
1 tsp jeera
Pinch of asafoetida
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp Kitchen King Masala
1 tsp kasuri methi
Salt to taste
2 tsp finely chopped fresh Coriander for garnish.

Method:
  1. Prepare the gravy and keep it ready.
  2. Heat oil add jeera and let it splutter and then add asafoetida. Add the gravy and sauté for 3-4 mins.
  3. Add water for desired consistency.
  4. Add the gobi florets and green peas and let it cook for 5 mins.
  5. Adjust the salt as gravy already has some salt and add kasuri methi.
  6. Add kitchen king masala and chopped coriander and remove.
  7. Serve hot with your favourite Indian bread or pulao.
Co-zy Tip:
  1. Use frozen green peas as they cook quickly and taste better and also readily available in all seasons.
  2. If you do not have kitchen king masala you may use garam masala instead.
  3. You can cook it in pressure cooker too but there is a risk that the vegetables might over cook. Do not blanch if cooking in a pressure cooker.
