Gobi Masala

Ingredients:
1 tbsp Oil
1 Gobi florets
blanched
1 tsp jeera
Pinch of
asafoetida
½ tsp
turmeric powder
3 tbsp Onion
Tomato Gravy
½ tsp Kitchen
King Masala
1 tsp kasuri methi
1 tsp kasuri methi
Salt to
taste
2 tsp finely
chopped fresh Coriander for garnish.
Method:
- Prepare the gravy and keep it ready.
- Heat oil add jeera and let it splutter and then add asafoetida. Add the gravy and sauté for 3-4 mins.
- Add water for desired consistency.
- Add the gobi florets and let it cook for 5 mins.
- Adjust the salt as gravy already has some salt and add kasuri methi.
- Add kitchen king masala and chopped coriander and remove.
- Serve hot with your favourite Indian bread or pulao.
Co-zy Tip:
- If you do not have kitchen king masala you may use garam masala instead.
- You can cook it in pressure cooker too but there is a risk that the vegetables might over cook. Do not blanch if cooking in a pressure cooker.
