Aloo Masala Curry

Ingredients:
1 tbsp Oil
4 potatoes
boiled and cut in 4 pcs
1 tsp jeera
Pinch of
asafoetida
½ tsp
turmeric powder
½ tsp garam
masala
1 tsp kasuri
methi
Salt to
taste
2 tsp finely
chopped fresh Coriander for garnish.
Method:
- Prepare the gravy and keep it ready.
- Heat oil, add jeera and let it splutter and then add asafoetida. Add the gravy and sauté for 3-4 mins.
- Add water for desired consistency.
- Add the potato chunks and let it cook for 5 mins.
- Adjust the salt as gravy already has some salt and kasuri methi.
- Add garam masala and chopped coriander and remove.
- Serve hot with your favourite Indian bread or pulao or steamed rice.
Co-zy Tip:
- You can prepare this curry in pressure cooker too, but then you have to add raw potato chunks.
- You can also use baby potatoes instead.
